Ubisoft announced a deal with Italian publisher Black Bean Games in which Ubisoft will exclusively distribute select titles from Black Bean’s line up of games in the UK and other territories during 2011 and 2012.

The first title to be distributed as part of the agreement will be SBK 2011 FIM Superbike World Championship, developed by Milestone and scheduled for release on May 13, 2011, for the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system and the PC.

“Black Bean is putting out a diverse line-up of games this year. Our work with them and their portfolio enables us to broaden our reach into new audiences, such as motorbike and rally fans,” commented Rob Cooper, managing director at Ubisoft.

Ubisoft will distribute Black Bean titles in England, Ireland and Scotland. In addition, Ubisoft will manage the distribution of selected Black Bean games in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The release of SBK will be followed by a number of titles:

·         National Geographic: Challenge! – June 17 2011 for PlayStation3, PC and Wii

·         Let’s Dance with Mel B - June 24 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Wii

·         WRC – World Rally Championship 2 (October 2011) for Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and PC

·         Strictly Come Dancing (Autumn 2011) for Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Wii
